Lorena is Europeana’s Head of External Relations and Advocacy. She works on building meaningful relations with EU policymakers, ensuring Europeana’s lead and influence on key policy issues and strengthening awareness of Europeana’s added value in the cultural and political landscape.

Before joining Europeana, Lorena worked in EU cultural affairs at non-governmental, international and intergovernmental organisations.
She has a BA degree in International Affairs and an MS in Cultural Economics and Arts Management.
Lorena is passionate about cooking, world music and languages.
