As 2022 celebrates the European Year of Youth, we are highlighting resources, networks and organisations within the cultural heritage sector which support students and new professionals. Today, we hear about the New Professionals Programme run by the International Council on Archives (ICA).
In March, Europeana will again be marking Women’s History Month by sharing collections, projects and stories which celebrate women’s achievements throughout history and today. Find out more about what we are planning and how you can get involved.
Heritage in Motion is a competition recognising innovation by the creators of films, games, apps and websites on themes related to Europe’s heritage. María Zozaya, Nicola Schiavottiello and Fernando Mendes tell us about the Heritales film festival of Heritage, which received a ‘Special Mention’ in 2021.
The Europeana XX - Century of Change project has significantly expanded the high quality curated collections on Europeana focused on 20th-century content. The project also encouraged engagement with cultural heritage through novel editorial formats and outreach activities - read on to find out what it achieved.
