Based in Ireland, I work with the creative and cultural heritage sector, after 40+ years in AI, software architecture, and tech innovation, with Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, and others, in France, Belgium, Luxemborg, The Netherlands and the USA.
I am completing a research Masters on immersive storytelling for cultural heritage in IADT, Ireland and have presented at FilmEU DOCTUS conferences 2022-24.
I work with CH institutes and universities on GLAM and cultural heritage digitisation and new technologies.
I am involved in the IEEE standards groups.and am a founding judge at the AI Awards Ireland.

MC candidate manifesto:

Digital Transformation, Technical Development, Innovation & IP, Policy

I will meet with CH professionals to understand key challenges and policy needs.
I want to work with, and can offer valuable insight to, the Data Quality Committee, Governance Working Group, Innovative Operating Models working group and the Digital Transformation Task Force.

My priorities are:
1. Build networks and consortia through meetups and regular online discussions and promote further research work in Ireland.
2. Work to promote the work, and raise the profile, of Europeana in academia and governmental organisations at local, rgional and national levels.
