Portrait of Rebecca Kahn

Rebecca Kahn

Members Council Member Co-Chair - Research community
MC Term: January 2022 - December 2024
Post-doctoral Researcher in Digital Humanities University of Vienna Austria Education

I am a researcher in digital humanities at the University of Vienna, where I study the messy and wonderful intersection of Linked Data and the semantic web, digital cultural heritage, data ethics and digital collections management. I have a particular interest in ethnographic collections and the ways in which these collections and their records are represented online. Born and raised in South Africa, I did my PhD at King’s College, London, a post-doctoral research at the Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society in Berlin.
