Anna Maria Marras
I am a Research Fellow in Archival, Library, and Information Science at the University of Turin’s Historical Department, where I specialize in the digital transformation of cultural heritage. Collaborating closely with Italian GLAM institutions, I focus on fostering inclusion and open data initiatives that make cultural assets more accessible to all.
In addition to my academic work, I serve as the General Secretary of AVICOM ICOM, contributing to global conversations on the intersection of culture, technology, and visual communication.
MC candidate manifesto:
Digital Transformation, Museum, Library, Archive, Gallery, Open data
My work with GLAM institutions positions me to contribute to ENA’s vision of an accessible European data space. Engage with ENA communities, especially in EuropeanaTech and Copyright Task Forces, to promote standards and accessibility.
I’ll actively promote the benefits of participating in Europeana, encouraging Italian institutions to contribute data and resources to the common space. By sharing success stories and best practices, I can demonstrate the tangible value of digital transformation and open data.
