We are delighted to launch a new initiative for the Europeana Research Community: a call for videos that showcase cutting edge projects and collaborations developed across the research and cultural heritage sectors. Approximately eight proposals submitted by 31 March 2021 can receive financial support of up to €300 each.

The DARIAH annual events bring together humanities scholars with a strong vocation for new ways of knowledge production. As a European Research Infrastructure for the Humanities and Arts, DARIAH addresses the complex topic of Humanities Data at the DARIAH Annual Event 2019, six months after the launch of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
Europeana Treasures is a series of blogposts introducing the Europeana Research case studies. Their name is inspired by the fact that they shed light on important research findings and unknown sources that have been discovered by researchers in the rich library of Europeana. Alongside the research projects that have been developed by the winners of the Europeana Research Grants 2016, two more complementary case studies have been developed by the Digital Curation Unit, ATHENA R.C. in the context of the DSI2 project. This blogpost is the second of its series, introducing the case study on the year 1968.
