This report explores the impact that the EuropeanaTech community and Europeana Initiative have on the implementation and development of the International Image Interoperability Framework (IIIF).
Providing seamless access to collections in multiple languages has been a key objective for Europeana since its inception. In this post, we give an update on recent strategic developments at Europeana on this topic and introduce a new issue of EuropeanaTech Insight dedicated to multilingualism in digital cultural heritage.
In this issue of EuropeanaTech Insight, the EuropeanaTech publication, we present three articles related to multilingual access of digital cultural heritage material.
EuropeanaTech is excited to invite proposals for the assembly of Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning (AI/ML) datasets drawn from the extensive collections on the Europeana website. Two proposals will be selected to receive a financial stipend of €2,500 each, to support the production, documentation and publication of the datasets.
