Eleanor Neil
My name is Eleanor Quasebarth Neil. I grew up in Brooklyn, in New York City, but I have lived in Dublin, Ireland for the past ten years.
I have an undergraduate degree in Ancient History and Archaeology and a Master’s degree in Public History and Cultural Heritage. I have recently completed my doctoral research into community engagement with archaeology. A significant part of my research included the examination of digital methodologies of engagement, through museums, and archaeological projects throughout Cyprus.
Recently, I have also been working with Trinity College Dublin’s Science and Society Research Group. This has given me the opportunity to work on projects around climate justice, equitable education, and science communication. I look forward to blending these new threads into my existing research interests in arcaheology, cultural heritage, and community engagement.
