90% of the conference programme was created by the professionals working in and around tech, research and development in the cultural heritage sector who responded to our call for proposals. This means that there are multiple lightening talks and sessions for online audiences which are drawn from the rich and varied technological expertise available across the sector, offering you new insights and knowledge. 3. Hear from experts and leaders
From the welcome of each day to to the last parallel sessions - the speakers at EuropeanaTech 2023 are leaders in the sector. Develop your knowledge of AI with Dr Mia Ridge, hear about the restoration of Notre Dame from Brian Katz and gain insights into policy perspectives with a welcome from Rehana Schwinninger-Ladak, Head of the Unit Interactive technologies, Digital for Culture and Education, European Commission.

EuropeanaTech 2023 aims to help you develop your capacity for working with digital cultural heritage. Whether it’s learning the basics or gaining a new skill, the conference will be an opportunity to develop your knowledge and refine existing practice, with ‘how to’ sessions on aggregation workflows, use of AI, community inclusion and more.
