Europeana's commitment to Diversity and Inclusion translates to many different actions we will take as an organisation and around it. One of them was formalising a Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) cross-team that can structure the work across the Europeana Foundation. But what is a cross-team? How does it fit in the wider structure of the Europeana Foundation, and who is involved?
In 2020, the Europeana Foundation made its belief in diversity explicit in its organisational statement that ‘cultural heritage empowers us to embrace our diversity and flourish’. This post outlines the approach we are taking to make sure we are indeed embracing diversity and implementing practical measures to embed it in our organisation.
