The Travel Collection of the Picture Archives of the Austrian National Library holds unique photographic series on travel, expeditions and ethnography, which date from the second half of the 19th and the 20th centuries.
The holdings of the Archives combine the graphics collection and three important historical collections: the Portraits Collection, the Picture Archives, and the former private library of the Habsburg family.
Cartographic material, maps and city views. The Historical Library offers an outstanding collection of Flemish, Dutch, Italian and French maps from the fifteenth to nineteenth centuries belonging to valuable editions enriched with colored maps and rich bindings with gold decorations.
This photographic collection administered by the National Library of Denmark offers circa 6616 pictures of the WW1 period. Incredible historical photographs showing the important Danish historical events and the particular role of the country during the war.
