Over the past five years, Europeana and European Schoolnet (EUN) have been working together toward a common goal: encouraging the innovative integration of digital cultural heritage in education, by training teachers on how to create learning scenarios using digital cultural resources, test them and integrate them in their classrooms.

Carefully selected by Europeana and European Schoolnet, the learning scenarios and the story of implementation composing this Teaching with Europeana booklet are the results of teachers’ hard work, commitment, creativity and endless efforts in highlighting the importance of cultural heritage in their teaching. Composed of the 30 best contributions in the 2020 Europeana Education Competition, this booklet has been designed for teachers and educational stakeholders as a prime example of the use of Europeana’s items.
