I graduated in History at the Radboud University Nijmegen, developed ICT skills as an employee of a software development company and work for the Dutch National Archives since 2003. I was involved in several archives related software developing projects in the Netherlands before I got involved in the Archives Portal Europe projects. In the APEnet project I was Technical Coordinator and as WP3 leader responsible for the interoperability between the Archives Portal Europe and Europeana and within the APEx project I acted as Country Manager Coordinator. Untill recently (5th of July 2018) I was Technical and Network Coordinator of the Archives Portal Europe Foundation.
