Victoria Marcano is a researcher interested in the fields of digital heritage governance and management. She earned her undergraduate degree in Art History and Psychology from New York University in Abu Dhabi and is currently pursuing a Master of Philosophy in Heritage Studies at the University of Cambridge in the UK. Throughout her academic journey, Victoria gained hands-on experience at prestigious institutions such as the Musée du quai Branly in Paris, the Dhakira Center for Heritage Research in Abu Dhabi, and the Atelier Crespin in Paris. A member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society, a Young Member at Europa Nostra, and a Network Member at Europeana, she aims to actively contribute and continuously learn from the field of cultural heritage. Her primary interests revolve around applying digital methods to enhance heritage governance, preservation, and education.
