Anna Maria Borowska
Anna Maria Borowska (1986), born in Germany and raised in South Tyrol (Italy), holds a Mag.phil in Art History from the University of Vienna and an MSc in Monument Preservation from the Technical University of Berlin. She has worked as a scientific assistant at the German Archaeological Institute in Rome and as a heritage conservator at the Austrian Federal Monuments Office. Anna Maria has been involved in various projects focusing on digital cultural heritage initiatives and monument preservation. She is fluent in German, Italian, English, and French.

I believe that my extensive background in cultural heritage management, particularly my hands-on experience with digitization, preservation, and conservation, positions me to make a meaningful contribution to the European data space for cultural heritage.
I will advocate for digital heritage, organize workshops to share best practices, and foster collaborations between local institutions and European initiatives, ensuring broad representation and active engagement from my region in Europeana’s goals.
