I have 11 years of academic library leadership experience in roles that required me to stay current with issues and trends in collecting, disseminating, archiving, and preserving cultural heritage materials. I am finalizing my Ph.D. dissertation in Library and Information Science at Humboldt University, Berlin, Germany. It focuses on online tools that help practitioners better understand digital library users, user behavior, and their reuse of digital objects. My research agenda centers on the assessment of digital repository systems, objects, and workflows as well as on emerging technologies that facilitate the discovery and use of digital cultural heritage materials.
