Europeana, Wales Millennium Centre and People’s Collection Wales are inviting communities from Cardiff and beyond to share their personal migration stories - and objects such as pictures, diaries, videos and letters - to our migration collection.
This event in Utrecht will be held in partnership with Instituto Cervantes and CRE Paises Bajos, inviting the Spanish-speaking community living in the Netherlands to come and share their migration stories with us.
This event in Dublin will be held in partnership with EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, inviting all Irish people who have lived abroad and returned home, or those who have family members or ancestors who have emigrated, to come and share their stories with us.
EuropeanaTech 2018 will place tech firmly at the centre of the European Year of Cultural Heritage and will bring together an international network of technical and R&D specialists from cultural heritage organisations, research institutions and creative industries to share innovative progress and forecast the technical future of Europeana and digital cultural heritage.

EuropeanaTech is the final conference of the EU project EuropeanaConnect and is organised in collaboration with the Europeana Foundation. It will explore technical challenges of making digital cultural and scientific information attractive and easily accessible for the public. An important goal of this conference is to build the community of technical and scientific experts in the field. At the core of the conference are interaction, demonstration and the exchange of experiences.
We celebrate with the fifth anniversary of EDM with a workshop day where we will discussed together the future of the model and the next steps of its development !
