A high-level event organised by the Europeana Foundation and the European Commission, under the auspices of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU, saw the unveiling of the Twin it! pan-European collection of heritage 3D models, the launch of the Twin it! Call to action, and a celebration of the potential of 3D for reuse, access and preservation.

The preservation team at Cyprus University recently scanned the village of Fikardou, which was in danger of disappearing, in 3D. Discover the processes they followed and how they shared their results on an online platform, resulting in renewed interest and excitement from researchers and tourists alike.
This event, organised by the EUreka3D project and the Cyprus University of Technology, will present the latest developments and services of the EUreka3D e-infrastructure, dedicated to managing and sharing 3D cultural heritage datasets.

The Twin it! campaign invites EU Member States to submit at least one 3D digitised heritage asset to the common European data space for cultural heritage.
