    Exhibition: "China: Through the Looking Glass"

    This exhibition explores the impact of Chinese aesthetics on Western fashion and how China has fueled the fashionable imagination for centuries. In this collaboration between The Costume Institute and the Department of Asian Art, high fashion is juxtaposed with Chinese costumes, paintings, porcelains, and other art, including films, to reveal enchanting reflections of Chinese imagery.

    Exhibition: "Foot Print. The Tracks of Shoes in Fashion"

    The exhibition shines a light on those fashion and shoe designers who left their footprint on the world of shoes by means of the exquisite and innovative designs they created. Their craft and art came together in architectural shapes, leaving a footprint on the fashion images of their time. The exhibition will include insights into the evolution and design of the shoes on display from the individual designers and creators, many of whom have influenced footwear for decades.

    Exhibition: "Liberty in Fashion"

    Liberty has been at the cutting edge of design and the decorative arts since 1875. The exhibition "Liberty in Fashion", held at Fashion and Textile Museum in London from the 9th October 2015 to the 28th February 2016, explores Liberty’s impact on British fashion, from Orientalism and Aesthetic dress in the 19th century, through Art Nouveau and Art Deco in the early 20th century, and the revival of these styles since the 1950s. Liberty Art Fabrics and the textile design studio take centre stage as the internationally recognised leader in floral, paisley and patterned prints and dress fabrics.

    Exhibition: "Jeanne Lanvin"

    The Palais Galliera, in close collaboration with Alber Elbaz, artistic director of Lanvin, is honouring the oldest French fashion house still in business. This first Paris exhibition devoted to Jeanne Lanvin (1867-1946) features over a hundred models from the amazing collections of the Palais Galliera and the Lanvin Heritage.

    Exhibition: "The Belgians. An Unexpected Fashion Story"

    The exhibition “The Belgians. An Unexpected Fashion Story”, curated by Didier Vervaeren and held at BOZAR from the 5th of June to the 13th of September 2015 gives a unique historic overview of the DNA of Belgian fashion, starting with the legendary Antwerp Six (including Dries van Noten, Walter Van Beirendonck and Ann Demeulemeester) and working up to the individualistic creations of Martin Margiela, A.F. Vandevorst and Raf Simons.
