Europeana strategy 2020-2025: Empowering digital change

The Europeana strategy 2020-2025 sees Europeana focus on a single task: supporting the digital transformation of Europe’s cultural heritage sector. 

Europeana will be strengthened, supported and reinvigorated as a strong networked organisation focusing on supporting the digital transformation of Europe’s large and diffuse cultural heritage sector. 

This strategy demonstrates European Commission policy in action. It will be delivered by a collaborative approach led by the Europeana Foundation under a service contract with the European Commission, with the Europeana Network Association and the Europeana Aggregators’ Forum, European Union Member States and external partners.
