Sally Lewis is a freelance curator qualified in archaeological science, Associate of the Museums Association, and specialises in dance & heritage. Sally was a consultant for Pavilion Dance South West on their dance & museums programme and has continued to develop a practitioner-led dance heritage network. Sally is part of the Executive Committee for the new Imagination Museum dance heritage network. She also participates in various associated networks, advocating for co- created, cross-sector, impactful collection collaborations & their sustainable documentation including: Association for Performing Arts Collections, Subject Specialist Network Consortium (Executive Committee) and Artworks Alliance. She is working with a Develop Your Creative Practice grant from Arts Council England on the evaluation of dance & heritage projects, and also collaborating with Traceworks Dance on developing their partnership offer to heritage organisations and communities.
