Dr Robert Sanderson is the Senior Director for Digital Cultural Heritage at Yale University, where he has been since 2020. He is jointly responsible for many specifications used in cultural heritage around the world, including IIIF, JSON-LD, and Linked Art. At Yale he is responsible for ensuring that the museums, libraries and archives work in a consistent and connected fashion to drive cross-domain efficiency and interoperability. He is passionate about interoperability, usability of data, and building community around shared and linked data. Previously he has worked at the J Paul Getty Trust, Stanford University, Los Alamos National Laboratory, and Liverpool University.
