I am a documentary filmmaker, educator, and student of audiovisual archives at the University of Amsterdam's Preservation and Presentation of the Moving Image program. I've been researching AI and audiovisual archives and I'm very interested in the question of sustainability and energy usage in data storage.

I wrote a series of blog posts about AI and audiovisual archives for the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision and I'm currently writing a thesis on the same topic.
