With staff based in five countries, our international team operates in a hybrid working culture. Our team based in the Netherlands has the flexibility to come to work at our office or to work remotely. Our main office is based in the National Library of the Netherlands, next to The Hague Central Station. Our teams based abroad (Belgium) work fully remotely and participate occasionally in meetings and events in The Hague office.

The role
For our Audience Engagement team, we are currently seeking a Business Development Coordinator who will be pivotal in facilitating the reuse of Europeana's data products and increasing the uptake of our tools and services, specifically within the education sector. You will be developing key B2B partnerships as part of collaborations including EU-funded programmes.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop use cases promoting the reuse of Europeana’s data products
Promote Europeana’s offer in terms of data, products and services to relevant audiences with a focus on educational communities, on online platforms and at events.
Collaborate with the Education Community of the Europeana Network Association as one channel to reach professionals in education
Identify, contact and follow up with potential partners and initiatives, especially in the educational market
Develop partnerships with relevant players in the educational market, including commercial and noncommercial educational organisations, and national networks
Support the improvement of Europeana’s data products to suit audiences' needs by gathering user requirements, reviewing best practices and developing a feedback loop with the data supply team.
Develop, plan and deliver collaborative actions through campaigns, pilots, competitions etc.
Have input in editorial strategy for the Europeana and Data space online spaces and channels related to the educational market, including the educational sections on Europeana Professional website (incl. blog) and Europeana Education LinkedIn group
Knowledge and Experience required
At least a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields
Min. three years of work experience in business or product development, or project management role
Experience in partner relationship management, preferably in the educational sector
Strong interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills
Excellent planning and organisational skills and ability to apply these in the environment of an international project
Ability to work independently and in a team with an audience-oriented mindset
Experience in designing and running engaging events
Fluency in English and preferably another European language
Further, it is a plus if you have knowledge of
Familiarity with the EU funding programmes
Salary and benefits
Your monthly salary is estimated between EUR 3,500 - 4,200 (based on full-time employment), depending on the level of your experience
A holiday allowance of 8%
A thirteenth-month bonus
A full-time fixed-term contract for 12 months, with the possibility of an extension
42 days of holiday per year (based on full-time employment)
