Inspired by the ‘Collections as Data’ international movement, the Europeana Foundation and DARIAH-EU (Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and the Humanities) collaborate to support the reuse of cultural heritage data with computational methods. This effort recently led to the development of a workflow to publish Collections as Data, as part of the deployment of a common European data space for cultural heritage.

The workflow is designed to make cultural heritage institutions aware of the essential steps to publish datasets suitable for reuse. It offers a range of resources for each step and aims to cater to the needs of those interested in reusing datasets for research, teaching and learning purposes at the academic level. The workshop will be an opportunity to explore the workflow and engage in discussions about specific use cases related to datasets.

Speakers

  • Alba Irollo, Europeana Research - Host
