Hungarian Electronic Library

The Hungarian Electronic Library is a collection of about 5500 digitised works relating to Hungary or the Central European region, in the fields of culture, education and academic research, specifically on natural sciences and mathematics; engineering, economics, technology; social sciences; literature, culture, humanities and arts; manuals, reference works and special documents.

For example within the literature and poetry category there are works on Old Hungarian memories, Hungarian folk poetry, Hungarian classical literature, Contemporary Hungarian literature, Hungarian Literature Abroad, Hungarian literature in foreign languages, Folk poetry from other countries, Ancient literature, Arabic and Persian literature, Eastern literature, Classic Literature, Contemporary Literature, Children's Literature.

The collection consists of text-based resources, but does not exclude other formats such as maps, sheet music etc.

The Hungarian Electronic Library also collects periodicals and journals, and links to other relevant resources, services and documents concerning libraries.
