The online catalogue of the Biblioteca Nacional de Portugal (BNP) allows users to simultaneously search for content in all the library’s collections or in each major collection separately. BNP has implemented the Europeana API and now search results within the Portuguese digital library are complemented with cross-links to items from Europeana.

BNP’s mission is to collect, process and preserve the Portuguese documentary heritage, including documents in Portuguese and about Portugal.
