Breaking news! The 2019 Europeana conference/Europeana Network Association Annual General Meeting will take place at the National Library of Portugal, Lisbon on 26-29 November 2019.
This will be a unique interdisciplinary event bringing together communities from tech, communications, impact, research, education and copyright.
The Europeana Foundation Business Plan 2019, subtitled ‘Our common culture’, demonstrates how this year we will work with the Europeana Network Association, the Europeana Aggregators' Forum and a range of other partners to improve the quality of the Europeana Core Service, to find ways to extend that service and to innovate for the sector at large.

It is with great pride and immense pleasure that we can present to you the new Management Board of the Europeana Network Association (alphabetically): Georgia Angelaki, Stephan Bartholmei, Sara Di Giorgio, Marco de Niet, Frederik Truyen and Erwin Verbruggen. As the new Chair, Marco will explain how the Management Board will operate and also highlight the Board’s aspirations and vision for the Europeana Network Association in the next two years.
