Independent researcher Independent researcher Academic Research

I got my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Art History from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities – University of Lisbon. Currently, I am preparing my PhD project regarding the relationship between jewellery and portraiture in the Portuguese context between 1880 and 1930. I have published my research on online platforms dedicated to amplifying the work of young academics, such as Palimpsesto and O Cipreste. My research follows a wide range of themes related to the Art World, for example: the history of painting, cinema, and the decorative arts. As a volunteer, I have been working for The Library of Congress in Washington DC, for whom I transcribe documents related to American women who laboured in order to achieve a more inclusive society.
