When large parts of Europe went into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Europeana events team and the Europeana Network Association’s specialist communities had to start to work very differently. This document is a work-in-progress. It is being designed so that we have a set of useful and usable guidelines for digital events organised by Europeana or organised in cooperation with Europeana.
The Europeana Foundation Business Plan 2019, subtitled ‘Our common culture’, demonstrates how this year we will work with the Europeana Network Association, the Europeana Aggregators' Forum and a range of other partners to improve the quality of the Europeana Core Service, to find ways to extend that service and to innovate for the sector at large.
2018 is the European Year of Cultural Heritage. Europeana is its digital face - making our cultural heritage work in the 21st century where people want it - in their social media, for education, research or for new applications.
